2. Data We Collect

Carto is designed to collect the minimum data necessary for its operation.

Identification data

If you sign in using "Sign in with Apple," we receive an anonymized identifier provided by Apple. You may choose to hide your email address using Apple's email relay service; in that case, we only have access to an automatically generated relay address.

Content data

Lists, items, and other data you enter are stored locally on your device and, if you enable sync, in your personal iCloud space via Apple's CloudKit service. This data does not pass through Jolly Home's servers.

Anonymous usage data

The App may collect anonymous data about how certain features are used, in order to improve the service. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases

Collected data is used for the following purposes:

• Service delivery (legal basis: contract performance) — enabling authentication, synchronization, and App operation;
• Service improvement (legal basis: legitimate interest) — analyzing anonymous usage to optimize features;
• Legal compliance (legal basis: legal obligation) — responding to lawful requests from competent authorities.

4. Data Sharing

Jolly Home does not sell, rent, or share your personal data for commercial purposes.

Synced data is stored in your personal iCloud space, managed by Apple Inc. Apple acts as a data processor under its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy).

No data is shared with advertising networks or data brokers.

5. International Transfers

Data stored in iCloud may be hosted by Apple in data centers located outside the European Union. Apple has appropriate contractual safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses) in place for such transfers.

6. Data Retention

Local data is retained on your device until the App is uninstalled. Data synced via iCloud is retained in your iCloud space according to your own Apple settings.

Upon account deletion, associated data is erased within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Your Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

• Right of access — obtain confirmation that data about you is being processed and receive a copy;
• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data;
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your data;
• Right to restriction — request a temporary suspension of processing;
• Right to data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format;
• Right to object — object to certain processing based on legitimate interests.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, or destruction.

iCloud synchronization benefits from Apple's encryption and security mechanisms.

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors without the consent of their legal guardian.

10. Changes to this Policy

This policy may be updated to reflect legal changes or updates to the App. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
